Gressenhall Over 55s Days

This summer Age Concern Norfolk is joining forces once again with Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse for three Memorable Days Out for the over 55s on Friday 16 May, 11 July and 5 September, 10am to 5pm.

Admission is £4 for the over 55s – almost half the normal admission price.

We are especially pleased to announce that Gressenhall is offering subsidised coach transport from each of Age Concern Norfolk’s Community Support Centres on Friday 11 July and Friday 5 September only.

The provisional routes are Methwold via Downham Market and Swaffham; Acle along the A47 corridor; Burnham Market via Wells, Walsingham and Fakenham; Diss via Attleborough, Wymondham and Dereham; Hellesdon via Taverham and Swanton Morley.

Gemma Pendleton, Publicity & Marketing Officer for Age Concern Norfolk commented “This is excellent news for people who may otherwise struggle to get to Gressenhall.  We have already had several enquiries from older people who were unable to visit last year because of transport issues.  They are delighted that Gressenhall is offering them a helping hand”.

If you are a group interested in coming along we may be able to arrange a pick up point in your village or town.  The cost will be £4 return per person for all routes.
