It is a single storey building with places for up to 25 residents and stands in it own grounds. There are single and twin bedded rooms, that allow us to cater for couples or close friends wishing to share. There is easy access for wheelchairs and the building is designed for comfort and convenience.

Quality Support
We encourage residents to have a positive and rewarding stay at Ethel Tipple Court by ensuring privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment are maintained.
With your help, we will draw up an individual care plan, designed to suit your requirements. Whether you simply need a helping hand getting in and out of bed, or assistance using our specially equipped bathrooms, our trained team are on hand 24 hours a day to provide you with the support you need.
Catering
Meals are served in the dining room and we offer a choice of menu. Meal times are flexible and all specialist dietary needs can be catered for.
We offer early morning tea or coffee, and drinks are served mid-morning and afternoon or at other times.
Individual support is available for those who need assistance at mealtimes.
Visitors are welcome to stay for lunch and/or tea, at a small cost and by prior arrangement. You or your visitors are also free to make drinks in the "Tea Bar".
Activities and Entertainment
An optional programme of entertainment, activities and excursions is organised throughout the year.
We have a minibus adapted for the use of wheelchair users, ensuring every resident has the opportunity to participate in outings to the theatre or local places of interest as and when arranged.
Our facilities include:

- "On-call" system in every room
- Bed linen and towels provided
- Personal laundry service
- Lounges with colour television and video
- A large quiet relaxing lounge
- A spearate lounge for those who wish to smoke
- Valuables and cash may be deposited for safe keeping
- Licensed bar and small shop
- Large print library books, video library and games
- A conservatory and pleasant garden area to relax in
- Hairdresser calls regularly
- Chiropodist appointments made on request
- Newspapers can be ordered daily
- Residents payphone (01603 423357) for incoming and outgoing calls.

Bookings
Bookings are accepted through Norfolk Social Services following assessment, or on a private basis directly with Ethel Tipple Court for any length of short stay, single nights or several weeks.
Relatives and Friends
Relatives and friends are encouraged to visit at any time and as often as they wish, but are asked to sign the visitor's book in reception. Well behaved pets may visit by arrangement.

From the Outer Ring Road in Norwich, take the Reepham Road to Hellesdon. Turn right into Cottingham's Drive, right again into Meredith Road, left into Raymond Road, and left into Sherwell Road.
