Age UK Norfolk is an independent charitable organisation and is a brand partner of the national charity Age UK.
We offer an information and advice service to members of the public on a wide range of issues. We operate a range of community development projects involved with identifying and supporting the needs of older people.
Age UK Norfolk works in close partnership with Norfolk County Council Adult Social Services Department in providing community support centres, including respite and day centre facilities. Everyone using services provided by Age UK Norfolk has the opportunity of being involved in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of those services.
Age UK Norfolk is currently piloting a Home Domestic Service at Grays Fair Court Community Support Centre in New Costessey, Norwich.
Age UK Norfolk′s Care Home Advocacy Service provides independent advocates to help older people living in a care home. We will provide a flexible service which meets the needs of residents in care homes resolving issues of concern.
Age UK Norfolk aims to provide advice and support to older people who are recently bereaved. Age UK Norfolk Bereavement Advice Service offers practical help and support to an older person who has no family or friends to assist them.
Age UK Norfolk′s Advocacy Service provides independent advocates to help older people speak up for themselves. We support older people to assert their rights when decisions need to be made to affect their lives.
Learning grants are to fund learning course fees for Norfolk Carers.
