Funding Support Project

Help with independent funding for adults and carers (18+)

Age UK Norfolk Funding Support Project is a scheme that can help families, individuals and their carers to apply for funding from charitable sources for:

  • Additional funding for those who have been assessed by Norfolk Adult Social Services Department as needing a short break and are in receipt of a Direct Payment
  • For unpaid adult carers to accompany them or to take a short break
  • For "one-off" purchases for goods or services that increase independence, when statutory funding is not available

How Does It Work?

Families, individuals and/or their carers are referred by Norfolk Adult Social Services Department to the Funding Support Project.

We will undertake research to find one or more appropriate charitable organisations that may be able to help.

All necessary paperwork will be completed and if needed, help will be given to fill in forms etc.

Getting Assistance

All referrals to the Funding Support Project must be made via Norfolk Adult Social Services Department.
