Partnership Outreach Project

Offering advice on benefits for older people and their carers across Norfolk

Age UK Norfolk and Age UK Norwich are working in partnership to raise awareness about older people's entitlements and benefits.

The two Age UKs are working together to ensure that older people and their carers are claiming benefits to which they are entitled, as we know that there are millions of pounds of unclaimed benefits held by the Government.

Working in partnership to ensure that older people across Norfolk:

  • Know their rights
  • Are claiming their entitlements
  • Are fully informed about Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit, Council Tax Benefit etc.
  • Get the help and assistance they need to claim those entitlements

Getting Assistance

We will give free and confidential advice, check benefits and offer practical help with form filling to any older person and/or their carer, in a place of their choice.  For example:

  • In their own home
  • At Age UK Norfolk's offices in Old Catton
  • In a Care Home
  • Any other venue

We will also hold advice sessions and talk to older people's clubs or groups across the County.

If your club or group would like someone to come along and give a talk or an advice session, please call us.  We can also arrange for someone to visit your home and help you claim your entitlements.  Similarly, if you know someone that would like a home visit to discuss their situation, get their permission - then call us on 01603 787111.
