Age Concern Norfolk Welcomes Four New Trustees

News Item

Age Concern Norfolk has appointed four new Trustees onto our Board.

Following a successful recruitment campaign to appoint four new Trustees onto our Board we are pleased to welcome Bett Barrett, Dr Peter Forster, Michael Lake and Richard Watson.  The four new Trustees were formally appointed at the Board of Trustees meeting held on 30 June 2009.

Chief Executive, Hilary MacDonald, said "We are delighted to welcome the new Trustees onto the Board.  They bring a range of skills and expertise including health care, voluntary sector fundraising, business, sales and marketing.  The collective skills of all our Trustees place Age Concern Norfolk in a strong position to meet the challenges ahead."

The Board of Trustees meets on a regular basis and Trustees are responsible for the strategic management of the charity.
