Were you a member of the Women’s Land Army or Timber Corps?

News Item

Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse is looking for veterans of the Women′s Land Army and Timber Corps in Norfolk to share their stories, objects, documents and photographs for a new gallery that is being set up at the Museum.

The interactive permanent museum gallery, which will open in Spring 2011, will be an enduring tribute to the forgotten heroines of the Women's Land Army and Timber Corps during the two World Wars. It will provide appropriate recognition for the work of the 80,000 strong army that kept the country from starvation and will enable veterans to tell their stories in their own words.
