NCoA Review of past meetings

At most Norfolk Council on Ageing meetings there is a keynote presentation on a topical subject.  Subjects covered over the past year have been:

  • Stephen McCormack: An Update - Where we are with Developments for People with Dementia in Norfolk (July 2010).  Also available is additional information from a report which was submitted to the Norfolk County Council Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee outlining Progress to Date.  Mr McCormack referred to this during his presentation.
  • The Work of the Norfolk Deaf Association in the County.
  • The 2020 Vision for Accommodation and Care for Older People: Ann O’Leary, Norfolk County Council.
  • Joining Up Health and Social Care: Mark Taylor, NHS Norfolk/Norfolk County Council.
  • Update on the ARCH (Archiving Rural Community Heritage) Project: Jenny Zmroczek, Project Manager.
  • The Personalisation Agenda: Stephen McCormack, Commissioning Manager Mental Health, NHS Norfolk.
  • “Talking about my generation” – Cllr Brenda Arthur, Norwich City Council
  • Personalising Services: One Year On – James Bullion, Norfolk Adult Social Services Department
  • Comprehensive Area Assessment – A New Way of Assessing Local Public Services

We always ask for feedback after each NCoA meeting and invite members to suggest subjects for future meetings.
